Money Box

Last year, Santa offered Poppy and Bibi a money box each. Santa was so busy that he didn't manage to have them decorated on time. After learning decoupage with Lorraine Meissner from Creative Stuff, I thought I should give Santa a hand and decoupaged the boxes for him :

L'annee derniere, le Pere Noel a offert a Poppy et Bibi une tirelire chacune. Le Pere Noel avait tant a faire qu'il n'a pas pu les decorer avant de les offrir. Apres avoir suivi des cours de decoupage avec Lorraine Meissner chez Creative Stuff, j'ai decide d'aider Santa en les appretant pour lui :

Lavender

I have been wanting to get some lavender for a while now but could never find in store the variety called Lavendula Angustifolia, also known as English Lavender. This lavender is notorious for its fragrance. I treated myself today and purchased a pot of Foveaux Storm which smells is divine and a punnet of Hidcote. I was told the second variety will produce flowers with a darker shade of purple. Both varieties belong to the Lavandula Angustifolia family.

Je souhaitais depuis un moment me procurer une variete de lavande que je ne trouvais jamais en magasin, Lavandula Angustifolia, egalement connue sous le nom de lavande officinale ou lavande vraie. Cette lavande est reputee pour son parfum. Aujourd'hui je me suis fait plaisir et j'ai achete un plant de lavande Foveaux Storm dont le parfum est sublime et six plants de lavande Hidcote. On m'a dit que la deuxieme variete produirait des fleurs violettes plus foncees que la lavande Foveaux Storm. Ces deux varietes de lavande appartiennent a la famille Lavandula Angustifolia.
