Getting Inspiration From Sandi Henderson

I found a lovely book at the local library called "Sewing Bits And Pieces" by Sandi Henderson which is a real source of inspiration. The good thing about this book is that sewing projects are made from fabric scraps. I trialled last night the owl, though I modified it a little bit, and I came up with this one :

J'ai trouve a la bibliotheque de quartier un livre adorable intitule "Sewing Bits and Pieces" de Sandi Henderson, ce livre est une veritable source d'inspiration. L'avantage de ce livre, c'est qu'il indique comment utiliser des chutes de tissu pour chaque projet de couture. Hier soir, j'ai confectionne la chouette, bien que je l'ai modifiee un peu, et voila a quoi elle ressemble :

Did you notice that one of its wings has been sewn upside down ? I am still learning how to sew decently...
