Nous sommes en periode de vacances scolaires en ce moment et toutes les mamans savent a quel point il est difficile d'effectuer quoi que ce soit lorsque les enfants sont en vacances ...
I did manage, though, to get started with painting on wood. My former next-door neighbour had some interesting wood slats at the very back of his garden, what he was calling junk, what I saw as a treasure ! They had been left to face the hardship of the weather for a very long time and I had to sand them to see what the true colour of the wood was.
J'ai cependant reussi a me mettre a la peinture sur bois. Mon ancien voisin avait des planches de bois interessantes au fin fond de son jardin, ce qu'il appelait des ordures, ce qui representait un tresor a mes yeux ! Ces planches ont ete abandonnees au bon vouloir des intemperies pendant longtemps et il m'a fallu les poncer pour reveler leur couleur d'origine.
Of course, it had to be a little goose !
Bien sur, il fallait que ce soit une petite oie !
